One of my favorite quotes by Anne Frank, "No one has ever become poor by giving", sums up my gift giving philosophy perfectly.
Whether it be time, love, or gifts given, our hearts feel richer & fuller knowing we put a smile on someone's face or touched someone's heart through the act of giving.
Christmas is one of my favorite seasons because generosity lingers in the air. I love buying gifts for others, and this season gives me the opportunity to be creative, thoughtful, and spend a little extra money on each gift recipient.
Here's my thought process while shopping for Christmas gifts: Would they pick this up on their own, would I find this type of item in their home, would they actually use the item, would they appreciate the thoughtfulness of the item or just let it collect dust.
I'm all about a gift that will be appreciated, that's why I put thought into each and every gift I give. I love seeing the look of delight on the recipients face when they open the gift. While this is not always the case....this is what I aim for.
