Fall is one of my favorite seasons – I love the crisp fall air (It’s a special treat down here in south Texas), cozy sweaters, Apple Cider, but mostly I love the rich fall colors that offset the coolness of the fall weather.
When it comes to seasonal decorating I tend to take the minimalist approach. Less to take out each year and less to put back. I also prefer real pumpkins to faux, there are plenty of great faux looking pumpkins out there I just prefer the real deal (I can also dispose of them when the season ends and don't have to worry about storage space). Here I have compiled my 5 favorite ways to add fall to the home. Enjoy!
1. NATURE
Bring the beauty of the outdoors in with a few scavenged twigs turned into a branch arrangement, add a couple gourds or pumpkins with a bit of greenery in a bowl/urn, or add a bundle of logs to the fireplace for a natural fall aesthetic.

2. SUCCULENTS
Show your creativity with a DIY fall centerpiece with a hollowed out pumpkin and a few succulents, or place succulents in a metallic votive for a luxe fall look.

3. PLAID
This pattern is synonymous with cooler weather. It has a comfiness about it and comes in many colors and styles. Simply add a plaid pillow/pillowcase or a throw for a touch of coziness to your home.

Add a bit of visual warmth to Fall’s chilly nights with a few flickering flames. Both lanterns & votives come in a variety of styles & materials to play to your taste whether it be rustic or chic.
